We Are the Body We as Christians are not to show sympathy, feeling bad FOR someone, but live with empathy, feeling bad WITH someone. We are to get involved in the lives of those who are hurting, those who feel like the world is passing them by while they lay on the ground broken. We are to be the arms of God that craddle them in a loving embrace, showing that they are loved. We are to be the shoulders of God, that lift them to their feet and support them in their weakness. In times we are to carry those who cannot lift themselves from the ground.
